Autism

If this is true, then why do half of autism parents believe vaccines played a roll in their child's autism?  It was estimated in 2018 that 1.5 million kids have autism.  That means hundreds of thousands of parents believe that vaccines played a role in their child's autism.

So which is true?  What studies have been done and what do they say?

Its also important to understand what autism is.  Many people understand that those with autism may have social issues, sensory issues, troubles regulating emotions.  This is what autism looks like.  But what is it on a biological level?  What are the body processes that are happening behind the symptoms we see on the outside.  You cannot understand whether a vaccine has the ability to manifest autism symptoms in a child without first understanding what autism is.

I am not a doctor or a professional.  However, I have spent hundreds of hours reading studies and articles and listening to different perspectives.  I will explain from my understanding what the mechanism of autism is and share the studies our regulatory agencies, such as the CDC and HHS, have relied upon to come to their conclusion that vaccines do not cause autism.  I will also share studies that claim there is a mechanism for which vaccines can cause autism in susceptible individuals.

If you made it this far, thank you.  Autism rates are climbing at an alarming rate.  In some places in the United States as many as 1 in 18 boys have autism.  We need to change course.   I ask that regardless of what your opinion is to please keep an open mind and think critically when reading studies.  Not every study is created equally and it is becoming more and more common to see studies being published using flawed designs to produce an intended result.

You hear it all the time, "VACCINES DON'T CAUSE AUTISM".  The CDC specifically states it on their website.  Anyone who claims that vaccines DO cause autism is considered ignorant, a conspiracy theorist, uneducated, selfish.  People talk down to them.  Insult them.  They say, "THE STUDIES HAVE BEEN DONE".
